Jim Jokerst, MD

Jim Jokerst, MD, is one of the founders and pediatricians practicing at Pediatric Associates of Kentwood in Kentwood, Michigan. His goal is to provide the compassionate and comprehensive care needed to keep the children living in and around Kent County happy and healthy. 

Dr. Jokerst was born in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at Michigan State College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. He received his medical degree in 1988, and upon completing his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, he co-founded Pediatric Associates of Kentwood with Dr. Leary in 1992. 

Today, Dr. Jokerst and Dr. Leary are married, and they have two teenage sons.
